Postcovid existerar inte som egen diagnos, utan är ett exempel på "mass psychogenic illness".

No, it's not. Covid-19 affects several organs of the body that would not be affected by MPI.
For example:
Kidney Outcomes in Long COVID (JASN, Nov 2021)
Patients who survive coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) are at higher risk of post-acute sequelae involving pulmonary and several extrapulmonary organ systems—generally referred to as long COVID. However, a detailed assessment of kidney outcomes in long COVID is not yet available. Here we show that, beyond the acute phase of illness, 30-day survivors of COVID-19 exhibited higher risks of AKI, eGFR decline, ESKD, major adverse kidney events (MAKE), and steeper longitudinal decline in eGFR. The risks of kidney outcomes increased according to the severity of the acute infection (categorized by care setting into non-hospitalized, hospitalized, and admitted to intensive care).
https://jasn.asnjournals.org/content/32/11/2851
Sequelae and Comorbidities of COVID-19 Manifestations on the Cardiac and the Vascular Systems (Frontiers, Jan 14, 2022)
In particular, SARS-CoV-2 patients present with hypercoagulation conditions, cardiac arrhythmias, as significant complications. Also, cardiac arrhythmias are another well-known cardiovascular-related complication seen in COVID-19 infections and merit discussion in this review. Amid the pandemic, myocardial infarction (MI) has been reported to a high degree in SARS-CoV-2 patients. Currently, the specific causative mechanism of the increased incidence of MI is unclear. However, studies suggest several links to high angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) expression in myocardial and endothelial cells, systemic hyper-inflammation, an imbalance between myocardial oxygen supply and demand, and loss of ACE2-mediated cardio-protection. Furthermore, hypertension and SARS-CoV-2 infection patients’ prognosis has shown mixed results across current studies. For this reason, an in-depth analysis of the interactions between SARS-CoV2 and the ACE2 cardio-protective mechanism is warranted. Similarly, ACE2 receptors are also expressed in the cerebral cortex tissue, both in neurons and glia. Therefore, it seems very possible for both cardiovascular and cerebrovascular systems to be damaged leading to further dysregulation and increased risk of mortality risk. This review aims to discuss the current literature related to potential complications of COVID-19 infection with hypertension and the vasculature, including the cervical one.

There is no doubt that Covid-19 may affect people psychologically, too, but the impact of this disease is mainly physiological.
Hanne Kjöller is an bloody fool.

A discussion of this question should be moved to the thread about the pandemic.

New article by Robert Bartholomew in Skeptic:
60 Minutes Whips Up “Havana Syndrome” Hysteria, Airs Sensational Segment on White House “Attacks” (Skeptic Magazine, March 5, 2022)
As well, the CBS program failed to mention that the authors of the very first study of Havana patients published in 20187 found no brain damage. While there were white matter tract changes in 3 of 21 patients, these are common in many conditions, including migraines and depression. The findings are what one would expect in a group of 21 randomly selected people. They also botched their assessment for impairment, defining it as any test score under the 40th percentile of normal responses. In other words, 4 out of 10 people tested would have qualified as being impaired. The study was so flawed that the editorial board of the respected journal Cortex called for it to be retracted.
A 2019 study in the same journal found brain anomalies, which is not unusual in small cohorts, and is not the equivalent of brain damage. The study authors even admitted that the changes could have been caused by individual variation between patients. Of even greater concern was the absence of a suitable control group, as 12 of the affected diplomats in Cuba had histories of concussion compared to zero in the healthy controls, and could thus account for the differences between the groups. The bottom line: both studies were poorly designed and neither demonstrated brain damage despite continued widespread claims in the media to the contrary.

From the British skeptics: https://www.skeptic.org.uk
Havana Syndrome: a primer for skeptics in an age of alternative facts (The Skeptic - Reason with Compassion, Jan 21, 2022)

Key Studies
There have been two key studies into the alleged phenomenon known as Havana Syndrome. The Journal of the American Medical Association’s 2018 study found that, for the 21 patients tested, most findings were normal. While three showed white matter changes on MRI studies (two were mild and one was moderate), the changes were within the range of normal. White matter tract changes are common in everything from migraine to depression to normal ageing. However, the study used a threshold for impairment of 40% – a level at which 4 in 10 people would have been classified as impaired! The real threshold should have been 5%, and as a result of this flaw, the study should never have been published.
The following year, the Journal of the American Medical Association published a second study, this time finding minor brain anomalies in the patients studied. This is not uncommon when looking at small cohorts, and the anomalies were so minor that study authors admitted they could have been caused by individual variation – after all, brain anomalies do not equate to brain damage. The anomalies were said to be consistent with people exposed to prolonged stress, and 12 of those affected had pre-existing histories of concussion, compared to none in the healthy controls. This alone could explain the differences between the two groups.

An interview in New Humanist with the two Roberts, Baloh and Bartholomew:
"With Havana Syndrome, the US government has spent five years chasing ghosts" (New Humanist, March 4, 2022)

Why might the US government be so resistant to accepting that this could be the work of something other than a hostile state?

Robert Bartholomew
: I believe that embarrassment is a big factor. It is embarrassing to think that they have spent five years chasing ghosts, and in the process, wasted tens of millions of taxpayer dollars investigating claims of an imaginary secret weapon that turned out to be the mating calls of crickets.

Robert Baloh: They have also backed themselves into a corner, having strongly supported the notion of an attack by a hostile state from the very onset. Some politicians have demanded retaliation even though we have no idea who to retaliate against. Other politicians have specifically used the foreign attack theory to further their agenda against Cuba. Furthermore, “victims’ groups” have powerful political allies and they refuse to even consider the possibility of psychogenic illness. Even mentioning the term can lead to immediate sanctioning.
https://newhumanist.org.uk/articles/5939/with-havana-syndrome-the-us-government-has-spent-five-years-chasing-ghosts
However, I think we do know whom to retaliate against: the people who are responsible for spreading the illness, people like Michael McCaul:
Congressman looks to punish those responsible for mysterious Havana Syndrome (Federal News Network, August 10, 2022)
A bill from the House Foreign Affairs Committee’s top Republican looks to punish anyone found responsible for a mysterious illness called Havana Syndrome. Rep. Michael McCaul’s (R-Texas) Havana Syndrome Attacks Response Act would impose sanctions on countries and individuals who are behind these incidents, but the federal government has yet to publicly assign blame for them. The condition first emerged in 2016, with 40 U.S. embassy staff in Havana reporting dizziness, tinnitus, visual problems, vertigo and cognitive problems. Those same symptoms have since been reported by personnel in China and other overseas posts.
https://federalnewsnetwork.com/federal-newscast/2021/08/congressman-looks-to-punish-those-responsible-for-mysterious-havana-syndrome/
As they say in the interview in New Humanist:
There are a range of potentially serious outcomes – both political and scientific – that arise from this. In what ways could it prove consequential beyond just being a matter of intrigue?

Robert Baloh
: Obvious political consequences are the breakdown in relations with Cuba and possible future actions against other countries despite the lack of evidence of an “attack”. With regards to the “victims” of the proposed attacks, telling them that they have brain damage caused by some type of mysterious weapon is a prescription for a life with chronic debilitating symptoms. Their symptoms are real but they need to be reassured that they do not have permanent brain damage and that they can be treated and get well.

Robert Bartholomew: The real danger that this case poses is to highlight the potential for politics to become mixed with science. The implications are enormous, from vaccination uptake to global warming. The effectiveness of vaccines and the reality of global warming are settled science, but in the social media and fake news age, misinformation abounds.

Long podcast - 1:33:11.
Ep. #473: HAVANA HYSTERIA w/ Robert Bartholomew (Into The Parabnormal with Jeremy Scott, Feb 6, 2022)
Diplomats and spies at the American and Canadian Embassies in Cuba report symptoms similar to brain injuries that lead many to believe are attacks from a sonic weapon. Robert Bartholomew explores what's behind the hysteria of Havana Syndrome, mass psychogenic illness and the history of similar scares from the 18th and 19th centuries.

I didn't notice this article from January until now, i.e. it is one of those articles that Google has been hiding:
CIA’s ‘Havana Syndrome’ conspiracy implodes: Here are media’s worst fake news stories (Multipolarista, Jan 23, 2022)

Corporate media goes wild blaming US Official Enemies for bogus ‘Havana Syndrome’ conspiracy
It’s quite instructive to review how top media outlets enthusiastically promoted this bogus story. It shows how the most respected newspapers in the United States and United Kingdom are more than willing to publish harebrained conspiracy theories when it does political damage to NATO’s adversaries.
All of these scoops were fed to reporters in the corporate media by their handlers in the CIA and Pentagon. These stenographers never exercised a shred of skepticism, mindlessly attributing the outlandish accusations to anonymous officials.
(...)
Mindlessly regurgitated the claims of anonymous spooks to feed baseless conspiracy theories that help advance US foreign-policy interests is, in reality, the job description for mainstream “national security” reporters.
If we had the glasses from John Carpenter’s classic “They Live,” that’s exactly what New York Times job listings would say.

Havana Syndrome: PhACT or Fiction? (Skeptical Inquirer, April 18, 2022)
Bartholomew summarizes the Havana Syndrome situation as follows: “Humans have a remarkable capacity for self-deception.”

If you are on the fence regarding Havana Syndrome or if you are confident that it is due to attacks made around the world by unknown nefarious parties using unknown weapons, I urge you to watch the entire interview to get the details of the side of the story you do not get from the news. The PhACT video is available here. Better yet, read Bartholomew’s book. If that doesn’t convince you, I don’t know what can.

And if you happen to have CIA Director Burns, or anyone else involved with this fiasco, in your contact list, please, please, please forward this article to them. Yes, John Bolton, there is another hypothesis! And it is the only one that makes any sense at all.

The PhACT video mentioned in the quotation is this almost two-hour-long YouTube video from March 19, 2022, an interview with Robert Bartholomew, 1:48:05:

No, the alleged sonic attacks in Cuba have been identified as either the Jamaican field cricket or the Indies short-tailed cricket. There are several recordings out there. This one is from the Associated Press on YouTube from October, 2017:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcI7yYK_6Z8
The sound is nowhere near supersonic. Even I can hear it, and my hearing is miserable. The cricket sound is approximately in the 7,000 Hz range.

As a former high-school teacher, I see a couple of problems with Mosquito's business idea:
1) Your gadget needs to have a loudspeaker that can reproduce these very high-frequency sounds. I don't think all cellphones do.
2) There is a much simpler solution that everybody can use "för att kringgå förbud mot mobiler", and even people of a much riper age are already aware of this: Cellphones can vibrate instead of using sound! If "förhoppningen (är) att den gamla läraren framme vid katedern inte ska höra något", the solution is already there and has been for a considerable number of years.
3) Tell-tale signs of teenagers being distracted by smartphones: Their bent necks and the people next to them trying to get a glimpse of whatever is on the screen.

A brand new interview with Robert Bartholomew. Like the PhACT interview from March 19, 2022, this one is also pretty long, 1:25:20:
Medical Sociologist Robert Bartholomew ~ The Truth About Havana Syndrome & Mass Psychogenic Illness (502 Conversations on YouTube, April 30, 2022)
Robert Bartholomew is co-author of Havana Syndrome: Mass Psychogenic Illness and the Real Story Behind the Embassy Mystery and Hysteria. In this conversation, he speaks about Havana Syndrome and its symptoms; mass psychogenic illness (MPI) and its symptoms; historical examples and documentation of MPI; causes; the purported weaponry suggested for Havana Syndrome; the FBI and CIA investigations; the journalistic embarrassment of Scott Pelley and 60 Minutes; and more.

At this point, the Americans are obviously aware that 'Havana Syndrome' is not a 'pulsed microwave weapon' attack or any other kind of attack on U.S. diplomats and CIA agents. But it would be too embarrassing to just let it go after having used it to justify sanctions against Cuba for the past five years: http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=13810538#post13810538
